On the occasion of the group exhibition Word is round at FRAC des Pays de la Loire, curator Marie de Brugerolle invited four artists in residence with diverse backgrounds and practices—Mads Lindberg, Kirsten Mosher, Martin Vongrej, and Anna Wittenberg—to forge connections with works from the collection by Marie Bourget, Jordan Derrien, and Lili Dujourie. The exhibition, conceived as a choreography, brings together singular works that resonate with each other in an open and circular dialogue and exchange. Thanks to Marie de Brugerolle’s essay, this illustrated catalogue extends the polyphonic atmosphere of the exhibition, inviting the reader to rethink the world as a polysphere. Louisa Gagliardi: Many Moons is published on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition at MASI Lugano. The work of Louisa Gagliardi blends traditional painting techniques with digital technology, exploring themes such as identity, social transformations, and the relationship between individuals and their environment through works imbued with a sense of ambiguity and mystery. This richly illustrated catalogue deepens the uncanniness of her practice thanks to contributions by Francesca Benini, the exhibition curator, along with Sara Catella, Noëmi Lerch, and Micah Schippa-Wildfong.

How are city transformations to be read? How are we to interpret the incessant metamorphosis of places and social relationships that has characterized urban contexts since their inception? These questions drive Knots, a collaborative research project by the Politecnico di Milano's Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DAStU) and Prospekt, a photojournalism agency dedicated to chronicling urban issues worldwide. By reshaping how we question urban transformations, Knots seeks to uncover overlooked dimensions of change, particularly in Milan's Scali. Showcasing outcomes from interdisciplinary workshops, the book highlights the value of crossing disciplinary boundaries to spark critical yet grounded discussions on the ways cities and their social fabrics evolve.
